Q: What is the point of this website?
A: The last 12 months have seen a massive increase in the number of footballers using Twitter to interact with fans and get their message across instead of having to use conventional media like newspapers and websites. I had trouble finding out which players were on Twitter, so I decided I should make a website to help other football fans find who was using Twitter.
Q: How come there are only Premier League clubs on the website?
A: It's taken me hours and hours of research to make a list of players using Twitter. I do plan to add lists for football league and foreign clubs, but this will come in time.
Q: Why do you only have images for certain players?
A: Unfortunately I'm not permitted to use images of players which are licensed to them or their clubs. I have used creative commons licensed images from Flickr where possible, you can find a full list of attributions by visiting the attributions page. If for any reason you would like an image you have taken removed from the website, please get in touch and I will take the image down asap.
Q: How often are clubs updated?
A: I aim to update the clubs completely when both transfer windows close. Keeping the clubs up to date when transfers are active is very time consuming, but follow us on Twitter to keep up to date with who is joining Twitter.
Q: Why do the tweets of players sometimes not work?
A: Twitter only allows a maximum of just over 100 calls per account, per hour. If you see a club hasn't got any updates, chances are that page has exceeded the number of calls allowed in that hour. You can of course just visit that player's profile to see their latest updates.
